Demon Priest Makeup + Ghost Walk Meetup

Last weekend, I arranged a meetup to a Ghost Walk with Scot Loli.

We went a tour around the city hearing stories about ghosts, graverobbing, the plauge and all the really Halloween appropriate parts of local history.

Unfortunately, I was not able to vlog during the meet, but I did make a Makeup and Outfit video for the demon priest look I wore.

Thank you to everyone who came along!

The Vampire Tag

My Halloween project this year is just to do more Vampire Vlogs.
And to rope in some friends to do them with me...

So, I created a "Vampire Tag" that anyone can do!
Just throw on your tackiest sunglasses and make up a vampire character as you go.
Just in time for halloween ;)

1. What is Your Name?

2. How Old Are You? (how old where you when you died?)

3. How Old are you Really? (how old are you now?)

4. When are you from?

5. What do you miss most about that time?

6. What is your favourite thing about modern day?

7. Who turned you into a vampire?

8. Tell the story of how it happened.

9. Who were you before you were turned?

10. What do you hope to see in the far future?

ShinkuRose Horn Headdress Unboxing

If you saw my Vlog from DMC in London, you may remember me saying I was going to by a pair of these ram horns from Shinkurose.

ShinkuRose on ETSY

Since she offers custom orders, I decided to order a custom white and red pair.

Every step of the process was really easy. I contacted her through facebook, and she kept in touch every step of the way. Sending me pictures of the fabric options and charm options. Letting me choose all the details and keeping me updated on the process.

They arrived safely, and well packaged.
Although, they feel a lot sturdier than I expected. They look delicate, but I don't think they would be very easy to break.

I have so many ideas for outfits involving these!

Card Suit Twins: Diamonds

Ever since I wore my King and Queen of Hearts outfits in London, I've had the idea rattling around in my head that I might do outfits based on the other card suits as well.

Twin outfits has been a theme I liked ever since I first got into lolita fashion, and particularly matching Lolita and Ouji pairs.

Over the past month, I've done a few sketches of what I wanted them to look like and now have plans for all four sets!

Today, we have the Diamonds:

 Prince of Diamonds.

Outfit Rudown:
Crown: ShinkuRose
Shirt: Primark
Waistcoat: Alice and the Pirates
Shorts: Bodyline
Socks and Shoes Unknown.
Princess of Diamonds

Outfit Rundown:
Crown: Shinkurose
OP: Metamorphose
Socks and Shoes Unknown.

The Spades and Clubs sets of twins will be coming soon.

Spanish Lolita Alliance Twinning Challenge

My friend Bárbara is part of the Spanish Lolita Alliance, and asked me to take part in their latest challenge with her!
The challenge was to create twin co-ords with someone, and it so happens we both have matching Vampire Requiem prints.
Because I coudln't decide if I wanted to use the skirt, or the JSK, I went with making us triplets.

Haunted Vampire Photoshoot and Vlog

The cathedral we are near is next to an old hopsital and in front of the Necropolis.
The weird noises and camera glitches we experienced all might MUST have been ghosts... right?

Elf-Ear Headphones Review

These appeared for a hot minute all over every social media site, then promptly vanished again. To my knowledge. But I really liked them, and decided to look up a pair for myself.

At first I tried to find an original designer, or original producer for these. Since all the buying options were very cheap, and my gut reaction was to assume they were a knockoff of something else.
I didn't find anything however, so I went for the cheap Ebay listing.
(if you know of an "original" version of these, please let me know!)

They cost £9.99, free shipping, and arrived in 4 days.
They came in a little rectangular box with both sides displayed nicely inside.

The ear parts themselves are soft sillicone, making them surprisingly comfortable to wear.
Unfortunately they do not come in any other colour. I don't know how easy they'd be to paint or dye, but it might be worth a try.

They can be a little tricky to put on at first, because of the way the wire has to curve back on itself, but once they're on, they stay on, even if you take the speaker part out of your ear.
The speaker parts have soft sillicone parts that shape to your ear, so they cancell out other sounds very well.

Overall, I really like these. They're cute, comfortable, work well and were cheap and easy to get.
So far the only real down side is that they only come in one colour.

Let me know what you think of them in a comment!
